This Clip was recorded with aGrado style square of DPA 4006, and 4053 mics in a square outside the audience, and a prototype "Penta-Cube" array built by Gary Baldassari. This unit consists of four DPA 4021 capsules pointed towards the corners, and a DPA 4052 omni capsule with a DPA UA0897 nose cone pointed straight up, and then bussed into the room center and the LFE channel.. These microphones provided the ambient bed against the on-stage mics.This clip is intended to be experience through a pair of headphones ONLY. Although it will play through speakers, the effect will not work properly through free-field speakers.
